Azores Airlines will offer 11 flights from Boston Logan Airport each week starting in May to Portugal – Round-trip flights start at $609 to the Azores, and $728 to Lisbon.

Azores Airlines has announced that it will offer 11 flights from Boston Logan Airport each week starting in May to Portugal. Plus, Providence will have a weekly flight as well. Right now the Portuguese carrier has daily service from Boston, and round-trip flights start at $609 to the Azores, and $728 to Lisbon.

Better yet, the service will be on Azores’ new the new Airbus A321neo fleet — with new amenities, comfort and reliability. With capacity for 186 passengers, 2 classes, this is the biggest single-aisle aircraft designed by Airbus.

All flights are non-stop the Azores, with easy connections to Funchal (Madeira), Lisbon, Porto, Frankfurt, Gran Canaria and Cape Verde. Plus from the Azores Airlines’ hubs of Terceira and Ponta Delgada there is connecting service to the nine islands of the Azores.
And this spring, a new website will offer passengers opting for an Azores stopover discounts on hotels, attractions and activities making the stopover even more affordable.
Local partners, including the hotel sector, will have all kinds of special offers.
